New Year Change 2015

We are always setting goals to make changes, but the most important thing is to accept Jesus as Your Lord and Savior for 2015. It's so vital to make necessary changes even in our family structure.

As this year ends, I'm thankful for reaching 70 years old and completing my doctorate. Many have asked what is the next step? My prayer is to become more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. My main Scripture is..."For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid that shall not be known"(Luke 12:2KJV). Also," give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?"(1 King 3:9 KJV).

I ask the Lord to expose and reveal anything that is not right about me and around me. Then, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me.  It's is my prayer to become more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and I ask for all things that does not bring Glory to God to be removed from me and around me. Have a Bless New Year and stay focus on the Word of God.

Dress Code

Our Church does not have a dress code. The Saints throughout the world have been making this statement and many of us have heard it . This is an untrue statement for the Christian/Saints. As Saints we should continue to effect holiness by presenting ourselves as an example for the world. Dressing any kind of way will defeat the purpose.

The church should seek to understand the Word of God as recorded in 1 Timothy  2:9-10 and 1 Peter 3:3 and it is not designed to take away your desire to dress comely, but rather suggest that you dress as becometh holiness. If we are honest with ourselves, we will admit that Saints should always make a different.

In recent years we hardly recognize the holiness church because of the way many are dressed. Styles have become too promiscuous and the Christian witness has been removed. There should be evidence of the difference between holy and unholy, and between clean and unclean.

We as Christians/Saints should seek to fulfill the mission of the church and that we too, can walk by the same rule and mind the same things as holy people of God. Let us lift up a standard of holiness to its highest height. Let us always present ourselves as a Saint that represent Jesus Christ. We should be temperate in all things. In closing, when you dress ask yourself, how would I dress if I was going before King Jesus Christ?

Testimony

My Testimony

As a Woman of God instead of dead-ends in my life, I have more valleys to go through. My Doctorate degree has been completed and my path goes on and on. What I thought was the end was just the beginning to another journey. I'm reminded of Moses, the years that he spent on his journey.

Being taught the Word of God and how to operate in faith has played an important place in my life. Thank God for being taught by a great man of Faith. God has given me the victory over every storm that I was faced. Two of my favorite Scriptures are Isaiah 54:17,"No weapon formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servant of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord and Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

every storm was conquered because I did not forget to seek God first as the Scripture tells us, "but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you"(Matt 6:33NKJV).

Coming out the end of this year Anthology with articles from Christian Women throughout the country. If you are interested in obtaining a copy, stay tuned or send me you contact information. I'll let you know when the book has been published. Email: areskridge@sbcglobal.net...to Dr. Annie Eskridge, DMin....God Bless and thanks for taking time to read this short version of my testimony.

Word of Thanks

First of all, thanks to all who have prayed with me and for me. I've  completed another milestone in my life. My goal has always been to put God first in all things. "But seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you"(Matt 6:33KJV). This gave me the condition for God's Blessings; His interests should be first in our lives and it guarantees of God's Provision.

Saints must not forget to be obedient to the Word of God and there is no limit as to what God will do through you. As we commit ourselves to serving the True and Living God just watch Him move in your life. If you are not happy with your life, then check what you have been doing throughout your entire life until now.

Just a word of encouragement to stay with the things of God. The second book is on its way and there's a good chance it will be released by the beginning of 2015 if not sooner. May the blessings of the Lord continue to rest upon each of you and again thanks for your prayers.

Word of Wisdom for all

Praise God for another day. It has been months since you heard from me. Praise God for His goodness and mercy. Many people spend all their energy seeking pleasure. Jesus said, however, that a world of ,pleasure centered on ,possessions, power is ultimately worthless. Whatever you have on earth is only temporary: it cannot be exchanged for your soul. Are you willing to make the pursuit of God? More important than the selfish pursuit of pleasure? Follow Jesus and you will know what it means to live abundantly now and to have eternal life as well.
Blessings to all. Evangelist Annie Eskridge
