Confession-Renee Allen McCoy

Looking for an interesting book to read....then...Confession is it. The book has been written for the entire world. Renee Allen McCoy has penned another book. It's a page turner where you can see deceit and betrayal. It fits with the title..Confession...Jermaine Grant and Nia Thomas, Karen,Justine and most of the characters lives are complicated. Then, I asked the question, does anyone trust anyone?

In order to follow the plot you need to read...The Kiss of Judas. She does an excellent job following her plot. She follow it so closely until you might want to reread..The Kiss of Judas...This is why you need both inorder to understand the plot.

For all of the soap opera watchers, this series is better than any soap opera. The languge is very tasteful and even your teenager can read it. I don't want to spoil your suspense, so go to your local bookstore to order the book or www.reneeallenmccoy.com. Enjoy...Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides

Thought for Today

A note for the praying saints. It has been brought to my attention that many of the young people that were raised in the Church have fallen away. One grandmother would like for the saints to pray for her granddaughter that has come out of the closet. She announce that she is a lesbian. It' s said because this young lady I personal know. She went to youth services, song in the choir and attended church regularly.

She isn't the only one. Another case the younglady, a Christian married an atheist. Now, she doesn't believe in Jesus Christ. The point here is Saints we been praying, but this is something we can add to the prayer list. We have mothers and grandmothers whose hearts have been broken as a result of what I have shared.

The Word of God tells us,"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, adn will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"(2 Chr 7:14KJV). Just a thought for the saints to pray. I left the names out on purpose, but God knows who they are. Enjoy your blessings...Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides...www.ruthplace.com

Word of Wisdom

Last year I brought several books that were suppose to be Christian fiction, but I was surprised with the language used in four. The salelady at Borders told me they were suppose to be from a Christian author. She and I both were surprised to know that such language was used. Remember if you are writing material for the Lord, please make sure that it glorify the Lord in all things.

If you are not sure about what you are about to say, just ask yourself, will this bring glory to God? Then, How would God handle a situation like this?If I shared one paragraph from those books it would be a disgrace. Just a word of wisdom, please use words that will minister to those who are hurting.

Then to the readers, We can refused to read books that are misleading. If I purchase a book that's suppose to be Christian then I expect it to be. Happy New Year and enjoy your blessings...Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides.

Word of Wisdom

"Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; For your people are like those who contend with the priest. Therefore you shall stumble in the day; The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed for lack knowledge, Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children"(Hosea 4:4-6NKJV).

For years I have heard this taught across the pulpit, but I didn't fully understand it. My first semester in seminary, I had to speak on this passage. I was led to share part of the teaching with you today. God made a charge against Israel for failing to teach God's law to His people. This was Israel's religious leaders downfall. They were accused of keeping the people from knowing GOD,destroyed for lack of knowledge. They were suppose to be spiritual leaders , but they had become leaders of wrongdoings. Even today, people will see the priest(spiritual leaders) doing wrong and they assume it's okay for them to do also. Spiritual leaders have a heavy responsibility. It doesn't matter what you teach, bible study, or lead a group, you need to take your leadership role serious. God will deal with all priest for wrongdoing with His judgment. He will terminate the priestly line.

The Old Testament prophet was known as the messenger of the Lord. In Malachi 2:7, this is the only time that the priests are called the messengers of the Lord. So, we see where it was important for them to teach the Word of God correctly.

I shared this to say the Word of God will stand forever whether we accept it or not.

The Tithe in the Old Testament

The 3 tithes in the Mosaic Law?
1st tithe- 1/10 of all given to the Levites(Leviticua 27:30-33; Numbers 18:21-32).

2nd tithe? -1/10 of remaining 9/10 set apart and consumed in a sacred meal in Jerusalem (Deuteronomy 12:5-6,11,18; 14:22-27) those living too far from Jerusalem could bring money.

3rd tithe?- Replaced 2nd tithe every 3rd year (or 1/10 of the balance every 3rd year) for the Levites, aliens, orphans and widows (Deuteronomy 14:28-29) if 2-3 tithes, then the total of the tithe= approximately 19-22 % per year!!

One New Testament Theologian said: "the tithes were the gifts to the Lord that the Law required. There were three: two that were annual and one that came every three years. The tithes supported the priests and Levites, and also widow , orphans, and foreigners (Deut 14:28-29).Most Churches today have tithing as part of their church doctrine. That's alright too, but the New Covenant Church is suppose to be a cheerful giver. Whatever the Lord lead you to give to the local church please be cheerful in giving.

In past, I've heard ministers say, you would be curse if you didn't tithe. The people were cursed with poor production from their land and animals. A key verse from the Law of Moses read that the curse will come "because you didn't serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart for the abundance of everything"(Deut 28:47).

I am a tither and I've been one for years. I purpose in my heart to give more than the 10%. I feel better since I know the truth and I don't have to feel guilty if I didn't have a dime to give.I consider myself more of a cheerful giver and I ask the Father what should I give. Apostle Paul makes is clear,"But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheeful giver"(2 COR 9:6-7NKJV). Email: areskridge@sbcglobal.net. website:www.ruthplace.com. Word of Wisdom

As we are about to enter into a New Year. We need to be more mindful of what we do and what we say. We say we study our Bible, but what I hear coming from the majority of our mouths doesn't line up with the Word of God.
The Word of God will deliver and set us free. When we speak contrary to it, we set other things in motions."Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit"(Proverbs 18:21NKJV). The words people say wield great power. Also James tells us, "For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body"(James 3:2NKJV). Here we know that the word perfect means mature.

That opens another door...many will say I'm not perfect instead of confessing what the Word of God say,"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new"(2 Cor 5:17KJV). One point as we enter in 2011, We need to be mindful of what we say. If it doesn't bring glory to God, then we should not be saying it. Enjoy your blessings.

The Mission of the Servant- December 19, 2010 Sunday School Lesson

Please read this lesson for December 19, 2010 careful then, ask yourself how can I minister to the poor? Our Greatest Servant was none other than Jesus Christ Himself. He was the perfect example of a servant. "But made himself of no reputations, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man,He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross"(Philippians 2:7-8 KJV). He was not selfish but He emptied Himself in that He assumed a servant nature and appeared in the likeness of men; and having been recognized in the outward form of man, He humbled Himself as an act of obedient until death, even death by crucifixion. He was recognized by many as a mere man, but He was even more than that He was still the Son of God.

I know it's cold throughout the country now, but you can still read your Sunday School lesson. It is taken from Isaiah 9:7, 11:1-8 still in Isaiah. Enjoy your blessings.

Get rid of the parasites

Do you have parasites holding on to you? First of all let's look at what's a parasite. Webster defines it as one who habitually takes advantage of the generosity of other. It's a noun. Parasites caused the mind to be cloudy. Christians can not hear or think clearly from God with these parasites hanging on to them. Are you connected to a parasite? Or a foreign god? Are you unequally yoked with an unbliever? Are you living a double standard? Are you in the down low? Are you in an alternate lifestyle?

My friend, all of these are parasites that are hindering your anointing. You can be free if you want to. Jesus came to set the captive free. All you got to do is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Personal Savior.
If you are already saved, then you need to stand up and shake these parasites off of you. Rebuke them and tell them they got to go. You refuse to have them hanging on to you anymore. Please repent for allowing them to hang around. All of us need to get rid of those toxic people around us. They make your headache and irritates you. Praise the Lord.

You got to get rid of them because God Word says,"Can two walk together , except they be agreed?"(Amos 3:3). If you are a committed Christian avoid organizations with little gods. That's a parasite that hinders you from hearing from God clearly. Some might say, I hear from God. Yes, you probably does but it is not as clear as it should be. Your mind is cloudy with things that should not be.

I can take that even further, Christian can not serve god and mammon."Thou shalt have no other gods before me"(Exodus 3:3). Just think about this. Most people fail to talk about sin. People, we must identify the problem before it can be fixed. Anyway you look at it...it's still parasites...hindering your relationship with the True and Living God.

The day has come for Christians to be committed and to stop playing with God. Just a word of wisdom for you to think about. This week I ministered on the subject "Purge yourself of parasites". It was an awesome Word that many were blessed. It's God that get all of the glory. It's my prayer that you too will be blessed. Word of Wisdom

Very interesting read. 1 Peter 3:10-12NKJV"For He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil. And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good: Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And his ears are open to their prayers, But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

This passage tells us to keep our tongue from speaking evil and deceit. We should stop doing evil but do good. We should seek peace and follow after it. Because God's eyes are watching us and God's ears are open to our prayers. He is willing to answer our prayer. But if is condidtional providing that we as Belivers of Jesus Christ have lived a holy life. We should not expect God to answer our prayers if we have not kept our part.

Peter uses the eyes and ears symbolic to remind his readers that God knows all things about us. He listens and responds to our cries for help. The face of the Lord is against us when we do evil.

Let's look at Psalm 34:13-17 "Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of he Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles."

Then, David took the role as a wisdom teacher, speaking to the young people who are in charge. It is necessary to depart from evil. In this passage the eyes of the Lord symbolizes His care and protection.

Both passages are telling the people to depart from evil. It is your choice, but as Christians, we should follow after righteousness. Another point would be,"Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him"(John 9:31NKJV).

Thanks for taking time to read this word of wisdom for today. For years I quoted the first two Scriptures as part of my quiet time. Being holy does not come easy you have to work at it. This is why it is so important to spend time praying in the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost as well as meditating on the Word of God. Because once you have the Word of God(inner word) in your spirit you can speak it at any time and it will manifest. Again be blessed and enjoy your Thanksgiving. Always be a blessing to someone who is less fortunate as you. Author Annie Dennis Eskridge, Sin Abides. Email: areskridge@sbcglobal.net. Thought for Today

In 2 Timothy 4:1-4(KJV),"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instnt in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall theyheap to themselves reachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."God is still good regardless of what's going on if God is in it. There is no one church or any particular denomination or non-denomination that is the only church going to heaven. All of God's churches will be there if the people live right.

I am reminded of 2 Timothy 4:1-3. This letter was written by Apostle Paul to young Timothy. The letter reminded him of the condition that the people would be in. Today and then, people do not want to hear sound doctrine. People want to play church, dress up in any kind of way, short dresses, short patience, looking like they going to the ballroom. This group of people does not want to be corrected. Their ears have been tickle and it is not sound doctrine. I still believe it is holiness or hell.

The Pastor should teach the Word of God.Preaching is the God-ordained means to prevent defection from the truth. Teachers who apeal to itching ears tell people what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. Dressing any kind of way for church tells us that you do not reverence the Holy One. Even being saved you got to go through something. Apostle Paul was grooming Young Timothy for what he'll encounter. That is happening in the church today. Everything in us got to come out if we want to see Jesus.
This is something for you to think about if you are a Christian that wants to be committed to the True and Living God. Thanks for reading this thought. Word of Wisdom

Saints...I love sharing the Word of God, but today my spirit is grieved. I know I will get over it. But a family member called me to tell me that her Pastor admitted living a lie for almost twenty years. He is married and has a family. I will not call his name for the sake of his wife and children.

Sin Abides was written after I was led to do so. It was not about any particular person, but from the reports of sin. We have sin being committed every day,but some churchfolk does not want to talk about it. I know now, it is because they are not being for real. After receving this call I was led to write this Word of Wisdom.

"For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known"(Luke 12:2 KJV)Even hidden motives will be exposed one day by God. This includes both good and evil as well. Also let us look at 1 Kings 3:9,"Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?" We are servant of the most High God. We should be able to discern whether it is good or bad.

Another passage of Scripture Mark 4:22,"For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything kept secret, but that is should come abroad." Jesus teachings reveal teh motives of the human heart.
Luke 8:17 "For nothing is secret, that shall not be manifest, neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Eventually everything will be revealed by the light of the Word of God.

There are several Scriptures that let us know that it might be in the closet, but in due time it will be exposed. The Word of God is the measuring stick Christ will use for judgment. We as Beliers of Jesus Christ must give account to the all-seeing, and all knowing God.
Thanks for taking time to read this word. It is my prayer that someone will either be saved or delivered from what is not of God. We all have been delivered from something. So, we know the importance of living a holy and sanctified life for the True and Living God. Be Blessed....Author of Sin Abides, Annie Dennis Eskridge. Email: areskridge@sbcglobal.net. If you need pray I will pray and other intercessors will pray also for you.

Purge your self

Today, we have many Christians that needs to purge themselves. We have parasites hanging on to us. Once we throughly purge those parasites, we will be able to hear and to see things clearer."Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"(Amos 3:3KJV). Then in Psalm 1:6, "For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish"(KJV). God set Israel apart inorder to bring her into a covenant relationship.
Those parasites could also be organizations that we belong to that doesn't bring glory to God. Ask yourself, would Jesus be apart of what I have committed myself too? Exactly how does this group that I am connected to bring glory to God?
Remember God is a forgiving God. Whatever it might be, if God is not being glorified in this organization, then get out of it. Many have been warned over and over again, but you are still in it. So, I want you to think about this...Am I totally committed to God or not?
I know most people wants to take their chance and hold out until the end. I knew a young man...that refused to clean his act up and he was met with a terrible accident. To this day no one knew if he made it right or not. He was given a chance to turn around, but he refused to accept it. Please don't be like that young man. I know there are people on facebook and google, who have never accepted Jesus. Then, we have Christian who play both sides, but that is dangerous. So, please think about what has been shared before it is too late. I am praying for a soul to be saved every day. God Bless you and thank you for taking time to read this thought for today. Nature of God- Inspiration

We know that love means more than an emotional feeling. God love is a burning desire within our spirit. In 1 John 4:7-8,"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God." Love for fellow Christians, prove our spiritual birth and our relationship with God. When we hear the term born again we recall Jesus converation with Nicodemus in John 3:3-6.
The Greek word for born again, means a new or from above. The new birth or regenerated is the act by which God imparts spiritual life to one who trust Jesus Christ. There are several interpretations for the phrase born of water and the Spirit:
(1) Jesus was referring to water baptism.
(2) Water is to be understood as a symbol for the Holy Spirit.
(3) Water is to be understood as a symbol of the Word of God.
(4) Jesus used the phrase born of water to refer to John Baptist's baptism.
(5) Jesus used the Old Testament imagery of water and wind to refer to the work of God from above.
Flesh can not be made into spirit. You must experience a spiritual rebirth. Here, Jesus spoke to all that He represented not just to Nicodemus but to fellow Christians. The Greek word Spirit also means wind. as the wind blows freely as it will, so the Holy Spirit sovereignty works. Likewise no one knows the origin or destination of the wind, but everyone knows it is there. The same is true of the Holy Spirit.
We need the spiritual birth so we can perceie spiritual things. also, you can not enter the kingdom of God without it.
Knows God,"if you had known Me, you would have known My Father also, and from now on you know Him and have seen HIM"(John 14:7). To know Jesus is to know the Father. Jesus said to see them is like seeing the Father.
In 1 John 4:16,"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love;and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him"(KJV). We have seen. The Christians live within the spere of God's love. Love is both experienced and expressed through Christina's life.
All believers in Jesus Christ have the Holy Spirit but they will not allow the Holy Spirit to pray through them freely. But, the indwelling Holy Spirit speaking with other tongues you must ask for it. Then, you have the qualifier for praying in the Holy Spirit with tongues as the Spirit give you the utterance. We are to walk in His Love. The actions must follow by faith. We need to act like Christ in order to become a Christian. We are reminded in Romans 10:9 & 10 ,"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved"(KJV).
Again in 1 John 3:23,"And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment"(KJV). In John 15:7,"if ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you"(KJV). In verse 6, it tells us,"if a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned"(KJV).
The more we study the Word of God then, we will become like Him. I'm reminded in James 2:15-17,"if a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say into them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being along"(KJV). We need to take all our problems to God and not the sisters.
We are to walk in His Fullness. The revival has been loosen in the earth realm. The anointing has been given to you for you to freely pass it on to others. Love will always have us helping others before ourself.
When Jesus died on the Cross,His sacrifice encompassed teh sins of all men of all ages, past, present and further. It included all sins for the entire world. The point here is do you belong to God's family? Please think about this thought for today. It is my prayer that you have been blessed from reading this article. Note for November 14 Sunday School Lesson

God knows who we really are. In Psalm 90 it makes it clear that God is fully aware of our sin. Those secret sins that others may not know about or sins that we rationalized are fully exposed before an all knowing God. Not only will our lives be shortened by sin, these sins brought unnecessary pain and sadness to ourselves and sometimes to those we care about. So, if you are reading this note and does not understand how sin operates. Then, you need to read...Sin Abides written by Annie Dennis Eskridge. Word of Wisdom- Bearing False Witness

"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor"(Exodus 20:16 NKJV).

The ninth commandment prohibits bearing false witness. This commandment protects the reputation of people from libel by others. Second, it establishes the Israelites System of justice on a firm foundation. In the Israelite law, the judging of a person's guilt was based on testimony by faithful witness. A false witness would undermine justice. "Whoever is deserving of death shall be put to death on the testimony of two or three witnesses; he shall not be put to death on the testimoney of one witness"(Deuteronomy 17:6 NKJV).

"Therefore, putting away lying, Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another"(Ephesian 4:25 NKJV). Apostle Paul calls for Believers of Jesus Christ to speak the truth to each other, because all belivers are united to Jesus Christ. King Solomon penned..."A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood"(Proverbs 6:17 NKJV). This is one of the things that the Lord hates. Also this gives us a reason as to why we should alway have a heart of repentance according to 1 John 1:9. Note: When we go against God's Word we hinder our blessings from coming forth. So,we need to stay in a position, so we can take back what has been stolen from us. In order to do this we must be right first ourselves.

Thanks for taking time to read my Word of Wisdom for today. Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides..

Thought for Today

Christ commands His Children to love one another as He loved us. This love is evidence that we are saved. God is Our Creator and His Greatest commandment is that we love one another. "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God: and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God"(1 John 4:7 NKJV). Love is more than a feeling. God is the soure of our love: He loved us enough to sacrifice His Only Begotten Son for the entire world. My thought for today is...Are you walking in love with your fellow man? If not, then pray about making things the way God would have them. Be Blessed and thanks for reading my thought for today. Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides...

Word of Wisdom (Psalm 19:8)

"The statutes of the LORD is right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes"(Psalm 19:8 NKJV). When God's Word lives within our hearts, believers of Jesus Christ will follow God's Word with reverence and fear. The Word of God directs us so we can please God. Also, the Word of God is pure with no errors. Apostle John wrote that believers "are clean through the Word which Jesus have spoken"(John 15:3).
Believers should pray, obey, and follow the True and Living God. It is God's Word that makes us clean. Just a Word of wisdom for today...Be Blessed...Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides...http://www.ruthplace.com or http://anniedennis.webs.com.

Building a Soldier's Character

In Romans 6:6-13, Apostle Paul gives steps that we must take in order to build the character that will defeat the old man and emulates Jesus' character.

1. I must know that my sinful nature was put to death when Jesus died on the Cross(see Romans 6:6).
2. I must reckon my self dead, just as Jesus was dead(see Romans 6:11).
3. I must refuse to let sin continue to dominate me (see Romans 6:12).
4. I must present myself to God like someone raised from the dead. My physical members must be an instruments of righteousness(see Romans 6:13).

Just something for you to think about. God's purpose is to replace the old man with a new man of His own creation. Apostle Paul tells us "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness"(Ephesians 4:22-24 KJV).

Walking in the Spirit

"I say then Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh"(Galatians 5:16 NKJV)

Some seem to think that the Spirit here is your spirit. The only way to overcome the sinful desires of our flesh. We must live step by step in the power of the Holy Spirit as He works through our spirit. As we walk each moment by faith in God's Word under the Spirit's control assures absolute victory over the desires of our sinful nature. Apostle Paul goes to explain the key benefit to living life according to the guidance on the basis of the power of the Spirit, and you will not complete the desires of the flesh. Paul is telling the People of God how they should conduct themselves. Life in the Spirit, not life lived under the Mosaic Law should mark the Christian life.

"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit"(Galatians 5:25 NKJV). One theologian...House explains it this way....Walking in the Spirit means to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit. A believer folowing the Spirit's lead we will not be conceited, provoke others, or envy others. It is my prayer that you have been blessed. Just a thought for you to think about. I have posted other material at:http://www.ruthplace.com and my email address is areskridge@sbcglobal.net. Please sign the guest book at http:www.anniedennis.blogspot.com. His Hands: Can I Live Holy? by Annie Dennis Eskridge

Can I Live Holy? by Author Annie Dennis Eskridge, Sin Abides
Many give excuses as to why they cannot live holy. Excuses!Excuses! I'm human!I'm not perfect! The word perfect in the Bible means mature or blameless. That is what the devil wants you to say. We should be confessing..."For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him"(2 Cor 5:21). Jesus never did anything wrong. Yet, He died for our sins, so that we could be declared righteous. This is why we should be confessing."I am the righteousness of God in Christ. But my friend, we are commanded to live holy. Hebrews 12:14,"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."

Holiness denotes the quality of God that is right in all actions.
Apostle Paul exhorted the Corinthians to cleanse themselves from all filthiness. The point here is for us to be cleansed. So, that we will perfect holiness, dedicate ourself to Christ and to live righteously, so that our lifestyle will bring glory to God.

Isaiah explains," A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool shall not go astray"(35:8NKJV). Isaiah tells us that there is a promise of a highway of holiness and nothing unclean can walk on this highway. It is a reversal of judgment.

God's holiness means that man is separated from sin and does not seek his own honor but to bring glory to God. It simply means separation from sin or evil. The idea of holiness is included in a number of Old Testament passages which also shows the separation from evil and devotion to God's own glory. Holy is used to describe both parts of the tabernacle as a place separated from evil and sin of the world. We must be holy in order for God to dwell in us.

Holiness simply means having been set free from sin, having become a slave of righteousness just as man serves sin befoe trusting Jesus Christ. Christians have been freed from sin so that they will have eternal life. Rejecting holiness is the same as rejecting God. The children of God should walk in holiness. We need to walk in peace with all people and without having holiness we will not see the Lord.

Keep in mind that the importance of living a holy life means you do not lend your members to teh devil. We must accept the fact that the devil is real, so please do not be deceived. He is crafty, scheming and it pure evil. He does not have a good bone in him. Satan cannot snatch you out of God's eternal arms if you have accepted Jesus as Your Lord and Savior. And you purpose in your heart to follow after righteousness.

Guess what? Satan wants to devour everybody. He does not want us to live holy. He hates us! He wants to destroy our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is his plan to ruin the Christians. This will make people think Christianity does not work and you can forget about living holy, acceptable unto the Lord. But, my friend Christianity does work and you can live holy. You can have a successful life with Jesus Christ if you do not lose focus. Study the Word of God daily and confess the Word with your mouth daily. Stop speaking like the world. Learn what the Word of God says about how we should live as Christians.

We have been redeemed by God's Son dying on the Cross for our sins. So, we need to stop taking Jesus off of the Cross and appreciate what He did for the entire world when He died on the Cross. I strongly believe that Christians fall from grace due to lack of understanding what Jesus did for them on the Cross.

Yes, we can live holy by being obedient to the Word of God. If your flesh is weak then we need to fast and pray until we get the victory in that part of our life. For years I lived a life of fasting and I stayed focused on the Word of God, so I know from personal experience that you can live holy. Website:http://www.ruthplace.com. Be Blessed. Sin Abides by Annie Dennis Eskridge

We need to know the aspects of sin. Can I live any way without problems? No, sin is like a decaying toothache. The pain is so unbearable until that tooth needs to be filled or pulled now!

Well, believe it or not, sin is th same way. With the toothache, it can be corrected, so sin can also be corrected. The same way, we go to the dentist to fix the problem. Guess what, God is waiting for you to get out of the dirt.

The eye opener (Sin Abides) give the meaning of sin, cause of sin and redeemed from sin. Sin is a reality even if we choose to ignore it. It is your life so consider reading, "Sin Abides." It will help you! Easy to read and it is not preachy. I just want the world to know what they are doing to their body.

Life can be sweet when we obey the law of the land as well as the law of Our Creator. We can't deny that Our Creator made us all. I admit He does not like sin, but He loves everyone. Whether we accept this thought or not. The main cause of sin is refusing to do what is right. This include our words, actions and deeds. We can no longer live any way and receive a bountiful blessings from Our Lord and Savior.

It goes even deeper than what we say but what is in our hearts. The seed has been planted in our heart. In most cases it has been years in developing. The areas where we are weak are subtle to ungodly behavior. Sin takes root at the core of the heart once it has been embedded in our heart, we can see devastating results.

Remember Jesus loves us but He hates sin. It separates us from the Almighty Father God who created us. He just did not die for one person but for the entire world. How Do We Rightly Divide the Word of God 2 Tim 2:15

Many study the Word of God daily but they have never been told how to rightly divide it. Today I am going to share some information on this subject matter. The spiritual prayer comes from Psalm 119:18 then cleansing 1 John 1:9 and the illumination by the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 2:12-16. This is why Christians need to be filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues in order to be able to discern spiritual things. The principles of literally understanding Scripture is to interpret the text according to :(1) Mind of the author when the passage was written, (2) Its historical background, what was going on during that time (3) Context of the passage (4) the basic rules for the grammar (5) Who is he talking to the author and (6) How does it apply to be now? (7) Always know what era the passage of Scripture was written in Old Testament or New Testament. Illustration; Successful interpretation comes from meditation on the Scripture. A personal relationship with the Lord will help you to understand and interpret the Word of God. The application would be for us to regularly and systematically interpret God's Word according to its proper meaning. Every thing in the Bible is truly stated but it is not a statement of truth. For example: In Job we often will hear a minister say at a memorial service, "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh." We know that it is truly stated but not a statement of truth because the Lord gives life and He does not take life. John 10:10 "the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"(NASB).

Apostle Paul appeals for us to make every effort to properly interpret the Word of God. Many times we have to start reading a verse before what we are studying and several passages afterwards to get the true meaning of the entire passage. Saints, I do not know if anyone has shared this information or not, but this is so important to know. This will help us with our studying of God's Holy Word. It is my prayer that this information will help someone. Be Blessed with all spiritual blessings.
