Changes 2015

As we enter 2015 we should purpose in our heart to prepare for change. In 2014 we have experienced multiple turn around and today the gas prices are dropping. As one writer wrote..."Jesus, knew he was going away, told Peter that Satan specifically asked for him," to sift him as wheat. Before the test, Jesus told Peter, "but I have prayed for you, Simon, that your  faith would not fail."(Luke 22:31, 32 NIV). Jesus prayed so that Peter would be Prepared for Change!. The point is are you prepared for change? Although through the Bible we can see changes even in todays political arena we can see changes.

As Christians, we too must prepare for changes in our lives. Jesus has assured us, that we would have tribulation; but be of good cheer, we will overcome the world. Regardless of what changes we are faced with, Jesus assures us that in  this world in Him, we would have peace( Read John 16:33 and Heb 13:4-6).

Although our faith is shaken, we must stay focus on the Word of God with all changes. Many changes have taken place in my life , but I'm still holding on to my faith and I will not let it go. I know who I am in Christ Jesus and I pray that you know who you are in Christ Jesus. Just one thought for today. As Holy Ghost filled Saints of God are you ready for a change? It's so important for us to stay focus on Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Being totally sold out will send the devil running every time. May you and your family have a bless New Year , then walk in the calling that God has placed upon you.

Stay tune CWC Anthology be released in May 2015. Yours truly has an article included in this collections that will bless you. areskridge6840@att.net.

Importance of Prayer

It is so important for all Believers in Jesus Christ to pray. There is no one that would have given his son for us. We need to thank Him every chance that we have for dying on the Cross for us

We have been redeemed, set free and delivered by the blood of the Lamb. This is why we must always pray without ceasing. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14 KJV). The Old Testament tabernacle was where God dwelt among the Jews in the wilderness. God is dwelling in the person of Jesus Christ.

We need to stay on the wall praying, if we have been called to that ministry. The more we pray, the more we become more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Praying helps us to stay in tune with the Holy Spirit. When we pray the Holy Spirit builds us up as we spend time praying and thanking God for all that He has done and continue to do for us.

If you are not connected to a good prayer group, then start one and keep the prayers going up every day. Thank Him for your salvation, for today, for your friends, for power over the enemy, for your church. Just thank Him for all things and give God all of the praises. We can never thank Him enough.
