It is God's prefect timing for us to rejoice in His perfect ways. We should not trade a single moment for it. Here is a poem that can be appreciate for this time.
The Thorn
I stood a mendicant of God before His royal throne
And begged Him for one priceless gift that I could call my own.
I took the gift from out His hand, but as I would depart
I cried,"But Lord, this is a thorn! And it has pierced my heart."
He said, "My child, I give good gifts and gave My best to thee."
I took it home,and though at first the cruel thorn hurt sore,
As long years passed I learned at last to love it more and more.
I leraned He never gives a thorn without this added grace:
He takes the thorn to pin aside the veil that hides His face.

Just a Word
In all that we go though in life, we are Christ's ambassadors. As we continue to live as ambassadors of Christ, let us persevere what God has commanded us to do. No matter what hardhips we may go through, we still need to be strong leaders who have overcame greater hardships that we have ever imagine. We can learn from them.
Lately, many Christians have forgotten about their Christianity and serving idol gods. They have wandered back under idol gods. Yet ,we know what happen to Israel and we are doing the same thing. How can you connect your spirit with an ungodly spirit? It is all because we can not find room in our heart to forgive. Yet, most of us have sin, because the Bible say, for we all have fallen short of God's glory. God forgave us, yet we can not forgive.
Unforgiveness can turn into a serious disease that we will not be able to combat unless, we find forgiveness in our heart. Just a few weeks a young lady called me, because she was so confused. People were telling her to go against her belief, just because a person made a statement. As a child of God we must love everyone and hate sin. I could ask one question and many would throw stones at me, but please think about it.
How many times have you told a lie? How many times before you truly got saved have you cheated , committed fornication, adultery and all the rest? See, you get my point. We all have be in areas where we should not have been, but we asked for forgiveness and God forgave us. Please think about it and be truthful to yourself because God already knows. Say a little pray and ask God to help you to forgive others as He does so many times. Then, ask the Lord who should I vote for, I am truly your Child and I want to be like Jesus and not what someone told me. Prayer
Prayer is communicating from the heart of a person to the ear of God. Throughout theOld Testament and New Testaments, we find God answering prayers of those who needed him. We are familiar with David, who prayed for forgiveness and resotration after being caught in sin, and God heard his prayer. Then we had Elisha who prayed for this servant's eyes to be opened to see the army of the Lord and God made it so ,as found in 1 Kings 6:17).
Jesus gave us Scriptures to tell us how to prayer. He declared that praying to impress others makes people hypocrites. He decribed the hypocrites as those who found conspicous places to stand and pray in the synagogue and even on the street corners. When we pray, we should not pray to show the public, how pious and spiritual we are. Out motivation should be to glorify and seek God and God alone.
As we slowly approach the upcoming election, we need to pray for God's will be done in the elections in the United States and in the political proess of nations around the world(Psalm75:5-7). Then, we can speak to God for ourselves and ask Him, who should you vote for? Christians can not vote for anyone or anything. But, we must have a forgiving heart and ask the Lord to show you, who cares about my welfare?
Finally, we can not listen to liars because a liar will eventually destroy themselves. The truth will always stand when a lie will fall off the scene. Then, how many of us have said or done things that others had a problem with? Now, you get my point. Be blessed and enjoy the rest of your week.

Do Not Fooled
Recently an article was posted by the LIUNA on election report 2012. It is true that election have consequences .This fall's election is about differences, the differences between what President Obama has done and can still do for LIUNA member, and what Mitt Romney will do to destroy the jobs and economic security of all and their loved ones.
The article goes on to say, we must not forget that President Obama was handed the worst American economy since the Great Depression. The international banking system was hovering on the brink collapse, the American automobile industry was going bankrupt, middle class Americans were being thrown out of their home, and companies across the country were laying off workers left and right.
President Obama took bold action to put people back to work and get the economy back on track.
He passed the economic stimulus package that included $90 billion for roads, bridges, transit, clean water and building construction.
He rescinded the short sighted and damaging Bus ban on Federal Project Labor Agreement. He helped pass legislation ensuring that our financial institutions won't be able to wreck our economy again. He appointed worker-friendly officials to positions where they could help workers get a fair shake, instead of helping companies skirt labor and safety standards. Time and again, President Obama reached out to the Republicans in Congress to try to work with them on our common economic problems, and time and time agin they turned their backs on him and the country. They refused to work with President Obama and this kind of behavior should not be rewarded. They wrecked the car and sat on their hands instead of fixing it and they do not deserve to get the keys back. Moral Relativism and Leadership
Solomon's leadership and wisdom, and his teachings in Proverbs 21:1 are essential to his view of leadership. So whether you consider yourself religious or not, whether you believe in God or not, let's explore what Solomon had to say to us.
Solomon emphasizes the connection between faith and character. An effective leader deeply is ingrained in traits of good character- things like honesty, integrity, courage, diligence, dependability, fairness, compassion, generosity, humilirty, loyalty, and perservance. Theses traits are built on a strong moral and ethical foundation.
Who can have these traits? By faith in God, its very nature, traits places a demand on the believer's life.People of faith believe within their hearts that God expects them to live moral and ethical lives. They seek to obey God's given requirement to the best of their abilities. This is not done merely because they believe they will one day have to account to God, however,the more they follow God's ways, the more thy see that He knows what He is doing..
Unsaved people will tell us that they live moral, ethical lives as well. That is true to an extent. But people who believe in God and derive their moral principles from Holy Scriptures all have a common moral frame of reference. A moral relativist would say, "what is right for you might not necessarily be right for me. This is not true for Christians. Word of Wisdom for today Romans 3:23
Many are wondering who they should
vote for and many say, it is questionable. I am reminded, if we seek the face of
God and pray, He will lead and guide us. One statement, the Apostle Paul
reminds us in Romans 3:23 that, “for all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God.” We know it means failing to do what is required. It may also
express itself in an attitude. In the
Scripture it is portrayed as falling short of God’s glory and another may say
going astray.
This is true when we go against God’s
law. We may not approve of what someone
has said, but we still need to judge all things according to the Word of God. Christians
should not sin in their words, deeds or actions. When time comes to make a
decision we should ask the question, what would Jesus do? Can I be a part of
this group knowing that they have perverted the Scriptures or what?
A friend wanted to know who are you going to vote for? My answer was what I just shared and my friend was happy. I did not tell her who to vote for, but I gave some good advise, what would Jesus do? Word of Comfort
The Word
of God tells us to comfort one another when a loved one has made their
transition. “We are always confident, knowing that while we are home in the
body we are absent from the Lord” (2 Cor 5:6NKJV). Because the Believer has God’s
guarantee, he or she can be confident, be of good cheer that their loved one is
with the Lord, if he or she was His child. This can be the case for many of us,
but you still have a pain.
As I
went through this valley, as the tears flowed down, without words to express
for the moment. Now, my best girlfriend from school is no longer where I can
call her, no longer can I laugh and talk girl talk. You see this is how I
expressed my hurt and pain.
Death is just like a toothache, the pain get lesser each
day. Yes, it hurts now, but each day it gets easier to face the next day. Yes,
you may cry, because you sense a void, but it is Jesus that gives the strength
to go through a period of sadness. But, because, we know where our loved one
is, we can rejoice in the Lord. 5/26/2012
Everyone has the right to go through a grieving period,
but its much easier when you have hope, you can rejoice because they are in the
presence of the True and Living God. So, even as I write this blog, I think
about my friend for over fifty years. May she rest in peace and she does not have to suffer any more. She has received her glorified body. Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides.
