Joy

Praise God for His Word.!

Joy is a thing that all Christians should be full of.

Galatians 5:22, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things, there is no law. NASB.

We must know him, love him, remember him, and imitate him.  As a result, we will fulfill the law's intended purpose of loving God and our neighbors.  We must join our lives to Him. A person who exhibits the fruit of the Spirit fulfills the law far better than a person who observes the ritual but has little love in his or her heart.

Joy is the fruit of a right relationship with God. You cannot create it through your efforts; it comes from God.

Hebrews 12:2, Psalm 104:31, and Isa 65:18.

Stay focused in the storm

Storms can be ina s very disturbing state.  It may be marked by destruction of a normal conditions such as hail, tornadoes, thunderstorm and lighting, snowstorm tornadoes and lighting.  Snowstorm, with freezing rain and strong winds trasnsporting some dust storm.

Violent storms crate much fear.  They created problems in the spiritual as well as the natural.  The Bible speaks of several storms that God's people had to encounter and deal with.  People may not know exactly when the storm will come, but they know it certainly wilkl come, so we must prepare for it.

Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.   We must follow His leading and everything will be alright.  People who ride out the storm must prepare for the worst.  Sometimes the storms become worse than they ever draamed and someong must come and rescue them.  It can be risky for ut, because sometimes no one is able to reach to the people.

we must never loose faith, just keep teh faith regardless of what we face in life. Jesus will never leave us or forsake us when we put our trust in the Trtue and Living God.

Don't let the devil sit with you

Just recently, I was introduced to a book written by Louie Giglio, "Don't Give The Enemy A Seat At Your Table." This book made me take a look at who I be keeping company with.

I have been evaluating my situations over and over again, then I ask myself ,does this bring glory to God. Then has the enemy taken a seat?  With all the tricks, it can be hard to identity his voice. He prowls around us trying to devour us, like he did Eve in he garden and the night Jesus was betrayed. We can not stop him from prowling, but we can keep him from sitting with us.

If he is already at your table , that's because you are comfortable with him being there, so get rid of him. We must recognize who he is and get rid of him in Jesus' name and he will flee.

looking for a book to read this is an eye opener.  It can be purchased from amazon.com.  Be blessed! Dr. Annie Eskridge, check out facebook.

His Hands

The month of January for years has been a time of consecration for most churches.  I thank God for what He is doing in my life.  this year I am becoming more sensitive to the Ho;ly Spirit.

as other set aside a time of consecration just seek God more.  For the year of 2023, my goal is to walk more in God's wisdom and to truly know to voice of the True and Living God.  Then, as I fast, study the Word of God and pray this will help me in knowing God's voice more.

My goal is to not allow the enemy to sit at my table for anything.  as you focus on 2023 just focus on the Word of God.  Then,, ask yourself what would the True and Living God do/ Am I bringing glory to His Name or not? By studying God's Word more and it will cause a great change in my life.

we must speak t he Word of God without doubting.  Faith words would put me on tip of all things.  this would keep the devil from sitting at my table.. Be blessed. Never forget God

Thanks be to God.  He has enabled us to see another day. We should never forget what God  has done for us.  Many did not make it, but we did, so we are thankful. God is totally in control of all things, so we should never give up.

There are many things that we have been faced with and will continue to be faced with because of the God that we serve. He is all powerful. all knowing and all present.  I mean, God knows all things and He is never left in the dark.  We leave God and get in areas that we should not be in.

Praised God for allowing me to see another day and I feel great.  I think about the challenges that I have had to faced, Praise God! I can still say thank You Jesus for being so good to me.  It is through Your grace and mercy that I am able to sat thank You , You been so good to me.

Many really don't understand me, but God, You know all about me, You made me.  Thank You, because I have been by You.  There is no one like me. Praise God! Thanks for showing me the handwriting on the wall and I will continue to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Cultivating Perserance in These Life Challenging Times 2 Cor 4:8-9

There are ways to cultivate :(1)seize the day- yesterday is done and tomorrow hasn't come yet.(2) plan ahead, (3) learn to say No and(4) stay true to who you are.

The theme Scripture let us know that the Hand of God was controlling Paul's persecution, keeping him within manageable proportions.

Perseverance- Jeremiah was blessed by God, tasked with preaching God's Word to His people.  To keep them safe from injury, harm or destruction. Perseverance comes from falling and getting back up.  Keep your goal in mind and understand resistance.

Paul is the ultimate example of perseverance in the New Testament like Apostle Paul, the Persistent Widow and many others but Jesus is our ultimate example of all.  True believers bear fruit with perseverance {Luke 8:15} Our perseverance is rooted in our salvation. areskridge6840@att.net

JESUS OUR SUBSTITUTE

                          JESUS OUR SUBSTITUTE

Jesus, stood with dignity in the courts of evil men. His accusers judged Him death Him a death sentence He had had not earned; Jesus’ posture   as He was accused and condemned revealed that He willingly died for the sake of all. The people who judged Jesus failed to recognize that the One they accused and condemned was actually their Judge.  Jesus was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering. He was not a victim, but surrendered Himself willing to endure a death He did not deserve.

Jesus’ accomplishment was amazing for those who accept Him for salvation. The Son of God was judged guilty, although He was innocent. Thank God, that Jesus took our place, every believer stands before God, and though guilty, is declared innocent.

Jesus was our substitute; He did this because He loves us. For He hath made him to STAND in for us who knew so sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Jesus died for all.

People who does not recognize God’s and fail to turn to Jesus as our substitute must bear the weight of their down judgment. There are only two ways that sin’s deserved penalty can be paid. Jesus is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin.

Jesus was betrayed by Judas, denied by Peter, and deserted by His own disciples. The religious leaders whom God charged to oversee the faith of His people did not recognize the Messiah and opposed Him. Pilate believed Jesus was innocent and still turned Him  over for crucifixion.  Not a one stood on the side of the truth. Jesus endured arrest, false accusations, and unjust treatments to redeemed mankind.  He willingly suffered for the entire world. A choice must be made you are either for Him or against Him.  The choice bears eternal consequences. Be blessed Dr. Annie Eskridge 4/16/22

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all and enjoy celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

Overcomer

Be of good courage, and He shall strength your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.- Psalm 31:24

Overcoming  obstacles fall into three categories: sin, the world, and the devil. My flesh was an obstacle; temptations of the world was an obstacle finally the devil is always an obstacle.  It is left up to me as to who I would serve. Praise God! for everything that I have faced, God has enabled me to be a Victorious overcomers.

I had to reinforce my focus on God to be where I am today. I had to focus on God's Holy Word during my illness. It was so important for me to  make confession as to what God Word said about illness.  By Jesus striped I had already been healed over 2,000 years ago when Jesus died on the Cross.

The more I thought about it. Jesus can heal all manners of diseases.  This means all things and nothing is left out.  Even today I still have to thank God for healing and delivering me. I am free to talk to God on a daily basis. I am His Child and we are free to speak to Our Heavenly Father on a daily basis.

We all need to release out challenges to God, so He can help us. It is important for all us to put them completely in God's Hands and stop carrying them with us.  Revelation 21:7 let us know we are called to be overcomers and not defeaters. Ask yourself, are you an overcomer or a defeaters? God bless you and be blessed. Mother Dr. Annie Eskridge areskridge6840@att.net

Calling God my Father

It is an awesome priviledge. Yet, what is God like a Father?

1. God desires to have a close, personal relationship with  you [Is 49:15,16].

God isn't a distant father. Rather, He wants to reveal His presence to you.  He wants to be close to you.  God loves you enough that He meets with you whenever you call upon Him.  Whether you want companionship, meet some wisdom, yearn for a sense of belonging, or just want someone to talk to- God is always available to you.

2. God desire to communicated with you[Jer 33:3;Matt 6:6].

the only way you are truly going to embrace God as your Father is if you are open and honest with Him.  You must open your heart to Him and invite Him into situation.  He wants to communicate with you and lead you in the way you should go.  He wants to reveal Himself to you and to you and share His wisdom with you.

3.  God loves you unconditional [See Romans 5:8;1 John 3:1]. God is wise and knows everything about you.  There is nothing you have to do to earn.

It is good to understand that God is Our Heavenly Father.  We must be obedient to God's Word and stay focused on Him.

4. God already knows all of your needs before you ask Him.

5. God will always be with you [Deut 31:6].

6. God is a Father who disciplines [Heb 12:5-10}.

7. God holds you accountable for your life. We are accountable to God for all things.

8. God will always help you to do the right thing. We must study God's Word and then be obedient to His Word. Be blessed. Dr.Annie R. Eskridge areskridge6840@att.net

Transformation

Romans 12:2...And do not be conformed to this word, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We must be conformed or molded or transformed that is changed by renewing our mind with the things of God.  If we are to assist anyone we must have a transformed mind or a renewed mind.  The transformation does not happen overnight.  Many of us think that once our life is transformed, then our mind will be renewed.  It is a different way. When our mind is changed we will be transformed and our life will follow.

Our transformation is a continuous process.  we are conformed into into the image of God, as spend intimate fellowship with Him.  "but we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord"(2Cor 3:18nkjv). Beholding the glory of the Lord, all believers of Jesus Christ are transformed into the image of the True and Living God.

True Christians go through various stages of glory as they study the Word of God. This applies to sanctified Christians, they have been transformed after becoming a Christian and studying God's word daily.

The transformation must be planted in our mind so we can assist others when it is needed as well as take care of ourselves. It's God who transform us so we will be able to avoid most worldly customs covetous, stubborn and arrogant. As we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, we are truly transformed and can successfully assist our husband.  it is imperative to understand that our mind is renewed with the Word of God.

Spiritual transformation starts in the mind and heart.  A mind dedicated to God's truth will produce a life that can stand the test of time.  If your mind is changed, you will changed. Feed it with the Word of God.  When you sin, confess and repent immediately.  A changed mind will be different and more Christ like than ordinary people in thed world.

we must meditate on God's truth and letting the Holy Spirit guided and shape our thoughts and behaviors.  It has truly been a blessings to share with others in this newsletter.  May God's blessings rest upon all the clergy and their wives.

- To understand the Word of God (John 1:1-3, John 10:30)

- For directions in your life (Psa 119:11).

- To find encouragement (Romans 15:4)

-To help us to see ourselves and convict us of sin (Heb 4:12-16).

- To become pure and holy (John17:17-23).

Destroy due to lack of knowledge

Hosea 4:6 NKJV  tells us..."My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."

Not knowing the Word of God is what has destroyed the lives of many Saints.  It is sad that people's lives have been affected just because they do not know their rights as a Child of God. Ephesians 4:11-12 let us know that...And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. It is our responsibility to know the Word of God, so we can live a victorious overcoming life. Be blessed! areskridge6840@att.net.  Dr. Annie R. Eskridge

Resilient faith

Resilient faith is one that will bounce back, you take a licking and keep on ticking.  this is the way we feel when we are faced with challenges.  Faith is the heart and not the head. Paul tells us in Romans "for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confessed, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:10 NASB).

Life can be tough.  We need resilient faith to survive during this time.  Faith may come easy to you, or you may be like many who struggle with it. Thanks be to God we need to understand faith when difficulties knock on our door, you faith will be tested , tried and shaken upside down.  However, we can maintain faith in God that is resilient. Resilient faith is a quality of faith that's able to see you through trouble, temptation and trials and in the end we are victorious.

Resilient faith provides:

an actual foundation for a sure hope for mankind. It frees you to do what is good and right and it helps you find joy even in a world of pain and suffering.  this is ours because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. we should be ready to fight, tough and violent and refuse to give up. we are winners, we have taken the shield of faith and we are able to quench all of the fiery darts of the  wicked one. Be Blessed, Evangelist Dr. Annie R. Eskridge, DMin.  areskridge6840@att.net.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path Psalm 119:105 NKJV.

Seven Things Bible Study Does for Us:
Helps us determine our motives for what we do and discover who we really are (Hebrews 4:12).

Guides us in determining the direction of our lives (Psalm 119:9
, 11).

Defers us from sinning and saves us from the pain sin causes (Exodus 12: Deut 8:3).

Imparts the counsel we need to live fulfilling lives James 1:22).

Changes us and enables us to be what God wants us to be (Ephesians 6:17).

Develops us as persons so that we make a difference in the lives of others (Psalm 1:1-30.
7      Encourages our obedience to God resulting in a strange faith (John 15:7).

This has truly blessed me and I found it with my Bible study notes. We all can fast, pray and study the Word of God for ourselves. Praise God for His Word. It’s my prayer that this will bless you as well ,as it has blessed me.

God's Unstoppable Power

We live in a world where we are faced with many ungodly activities. God's perfection in the beginning was destroyed. God's pursue is unstoppable.  Being unstoppable didn't mean we wouldn't have challenges.  The power of the Holy Spirit fulfills God's plan for the church. Just to name a few apostles in the Bible that was unstoppable.

The word reminds one of the early days of the church.  The apostles were faced with conflicts to stop the progress, but the adversary actions fueled them to spread the gospel.  The Bible is sufficient for successful living. Jesus has promised us that He would show up if we would seek Him. As Saints of God, we too must be unstoppable as we minister to those who ae hungry for the gospel.

Peter and John was sent to jail for sharing the gospel.  They were determine not to be unstoppable as they were called to be an apostle. They were willing to take a stand for Jesus Christ.  We must have that same determination, that we will have an unstoppable attitude toward the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Evangelist Dr. Annie R. Eskridge areskridge6840@att.net.

God's Unstoppable Plan

God’s story is very powerful. God spoke, and light and life exploded into a great creation. God prepared a perfect place for man and woman to live in the beginning. He provided every good thing that was needed for one another. But doubt was entered in, they did not trust God. Goodness turned into disbelief in His Word and disobedience to God’s command. Sin and death shattered God’s perfect world. This led to all human being born spiritually dead.

God had a perfect plan for His people before this took place. Nothing can stop God’s plan this is why it is called God’s unstoppable plan. God condemned the serpent that tempted the people to sin. God promised that a Savior would defeat His enemy and ours. Jesus dying on the Cross triumphed over Satan.

From this came renewal to all who believed in the Word of God. But sin had spreaded everywhere. Nothing could destroy or loosen sin’s grip on the human heart, not even a flood. Families grew, nations were formed, but the knowledge of the true and living God almost vanish.

God chose one man, Abram, without hesitation he left behind the comforts and idols of his home to follow God. Most of all God promised to bless the world. God was pointing to Jesus, His gift to the world. We must accept Jesus as the true and living God.

In the end the power of God was unstoppable and it had to be fulfilled. Be bless and Happy New Year.  Always remember Jesus in everything you say and do. Evangelist Dr. Annie R. Eskridge, DMin areskridge6840@att.net.
